Rocky Mountain Recreation and Landscape Structures are honored that the playground at Paco Sanchez Park was recognized by the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) Colorado chapter. An Honor Award for the category Design over $500K was awarded to Dig Studio, the Landscape Architect for the Paco Sanchez Park project. The playground includes an epic 1950’s microphone-inspired climbing tower, honoring local radio DJ Paco Sanchez. Musical notes and scales combined with sound waves create netted climbing adventures and spark imaginations. A bridge bordered with musical chimes are yet another way kids experience music throughout this unique and historic playground.
